In this role, you will be an employee of NXTPoint, but work on site at the Johnson & Johnson facility.\nFACILITY PERKS\nFully Climate Controlled Environment\nOnsite Employee Cafeteria\nFree Access to the Onsite Fitness Center\nSHIFT HOURS\nDay Shift - 7:00am-3:30pm\nThis position is responsible for performing all mailroom duties such as verifying the bills of lading, customs paperwork, verifying packing lists, and preparing outbound orders. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, cleaning, transporting, storage, product destruction, delivery, etc. in accordance with departmental procedures, work instructions, and guidance documents in a safe and responsible manner, observing all safety and security protocols. Communicate effectively and engage with co-workers and customers as well as provide quality customer service with internal customers.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDaily verifies the hopper to ensure all orders are completed timely. \nInteracts with other distribution operators to direct activities as required to meet desired process outcomes for the assigned process.\nMonitors, tracks and reports on assigned processes within the operation to both the management team and distribution operators as required.\nCompletes all required documentation for pallet shipments.\nCommunicates any shortages or missing shipments to warehouse pickers and PPS to ensure all shipments are received in a timely manner.\nCollect all UPS, FEDEX and other customer orders from the CHUTES area once shipment pallet is complete.\nOperate basic manual or powered material handling equipment.\nPerform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed. Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. \nAssist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation. \nEnsures customers’ special requests are carried out and all problems and/or discrepancies are investigated. \nCoordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions. \nMaintain a clean neat and orderly work area. \nHelp cover absent team members routines as determined by Supervisor(s) to balance out staffing shortages and to maintain steady availability of staff.\nMaintain training on departmental procedures, policies, GMP’s, and follow all safety security & environment guidelines.\nComplete special projects, duties, or assignments appropriately.\nMaintain warehouse and support areas in an outstanding housekeeping state.\nMay also require material handling equipment certification.\nMust be dependable and punctual in attendance.\nQUALIFICATONS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
