Your responsibilities will include:\nInventory Management: Monitor pharmaceutical stock, anticipate medication needs, place and track orders, verify deliveries, and remove expired products.\n\nWorkplace Safety: Maintain a clean and compliant pharmacy environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulatory guidelines.\n\nInfection Control: Follow established protocols to protect patients, colleagues, and yourself from potential health risks.\n\nMedication Preparation: Read prescriptions and EMR orders, prepare labels, calculate quantities, and organize medications for pharmacist verification.\n\nRecordkeeping: Accurately document charges, maintain billing records, and ensure compliance with reporting standards.\n\nMedication Delivery: Distribute prepared medications to patients or appropriate departments in a timely manner.\n\nReporting: Collect and summarize pharmacy data to assist in operational tracking and compliance efforts.\n\nTeam Support: Collaborate with colleagues and assist in related tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.\n\nQualifications\nCertified Pharmacy Technician with a valid New York State license.\n\nStrong understanding of dosage administration, measurement, chemical compounds, and medical brands.\n\nProficiency in MS Office and pharmacy information systems.\n\nExcellent organizational and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.\n\nAbility to manage a high-volume workload with accuracy and attention to detail.\n\nMinimum 1 year of experience in specialty or high-volume retail pharmacy.\n\nWillingness to complete approximately 4 weeks of training at our Port Jefferson, NY location.\n\nCompensation: Up to $31/hr\nBenefits: Health Insurance (effective day 1), Dental, Vision,
