This role will work across all phases of the application lifecycle and software development. The position requires strong technical expertise in front-end, back-end, database, integration and dashboarding, along with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams. The Senior Application Developer will help ensure that applications are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with departmental and enterprise technology standards. \nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \nContribute to the planning, implementation, delivery, and ongoing administration of enterprise information systems, data platforms, dashboarding and reporting solutions. \nContributeto assigned project activities, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications across program management, project management, software development lifecycle, and application lifecycle efforts. \nPartner with business stakeholders and technical teamstogather, document, analyze, and validatebusiness, functional, and technical requirements. \nContribute to solution design, configuration, development, testing, quality assurance, deployment, and post-implementation support for enterprise technology initiatives. \nContribute to application development, system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements in accordance withorganizational standards and approved technology practices. \nAssistwith enterprise data management, reporting, dashboards, business intelligence, data quality, data governance, and related analytical activities. \nMonitor project status and proactively communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and action items to relevant stakeholders. \nAnalyze business processes, operational needs, and system performance to identifyopportunities for improved efficiency, effectiveness, and data accessibility. \nPrepare, maintain, and organize project documentation, technical documentation, requirementsmaterials, test plans, user guides, and related deliverables. \nProvide analytical, technical, and operational support to ensure systems and data solutions meet business requirements, user needs, and organizational standards. \nPerform other duties as assigned \nQUALIFICATIONS: \nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or relatedfield. \nAt least 8years of progressive experience supporting enterprise software systems, data platforms, reporting solutions, andapplication development initiatives. \nAt least 6years of progressive experience with program management, project management, Agile, SDLC, ALM, requirements gathering, solution design & development, testing, quality assurance, deployment, and post-implementation support. \nExperiencewith enterprise technologies such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft SQL, .NET Full Stack Development with C#and Python. \nProficientwith development tools Visual Studio, Telerik, Aspose, Nintex, Azure Dev Ops,Fiddler, Postman, Web Form Platforms. \nExperiencewithenterprisedata governance,data management, data quality,and API integration. \nProficient inbuilding reports, dashboards, and business intelligence practices. \nExperience with data lake medallion architecture and building Power BI dashboards with KPIs, measures, DAX, Tabular Editor. \nExperience using source control,DevOps, performance monitoring, & application security tools \nExperience collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners to translate business needs into practical technology solutions. \nDemonstrated analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills with effective stakeholder management \nNYC residency is requiredwithin 180 daysof hire. \nSalary Range\n$110,000—$113,000 USD\nAbout Us: New York City Economic Development Corporation is a mission-driven, nonprofit organization that works for a vibrant, inclusive, and globally competitive economy for all New Yorkers.
