How users find, discover and engage with content is central to the overall experience, from the first search to the next recommendation.\nWe are now looking for a Sr Fullstack Engineer with a frontend focus to join Content Experience, the area responsible for helping people find the right content, at the right time, on the right platform.\nWhy this role matters\nContent Experience is the part of TV4 Play and MTV Katsomo that users interact with when looking for something to watch. A large and constantly changing catalogue of content needs to be easy to discover, navigate and choose from.\nThe experience needs to be fast and intuitive for millions of users across different screens and platforms. This places high demands on both the technical solutions and our understanding of how people actually use our products.\nYou will work close to the actual user experience and solve technically complex problems where the result of what you build is directly visible to the user.\nWhy you might want to join us\nYou want to work closely with product and design and like seeing a clear connection between technical decisions and what actually reaches the user.\nYour technical strength is in frontend, but you see yourself as a software engineer rather than a specialist in one particular part of the stack. You are comfortable moving across the stack when the problem requires it and want to understand the systems behind the experience you are building.\nYou enjoy combining technical depth with product understanding and taking responsibility from idea and hypothesis through implementation, follow up and continued development.\nYou see AI as a natural part of modern software development and are curious about how new tools and ways of working can help you and the team build better products.\nAbout the team\nContent Experience is a cross functional team where engineering works closely with product and design. We also collaborate with other engineering teams to connect our solutions with the rest of TV4's technical platform.\nThe team has significant technical ownership and is responsible for its solutions all the way to production. The work is characterised by a high degree of autonomy and a close connection between technical decisions, product and users.\nWhat you will do\nBuild and evolve user experiences in React and TypeScript\n\nTake technical responsibility for frontend architecture, quality, performance and long term sustainability\n\nWork across the stack, from client and APIs to backend services when the problem requires it\n\nBuild solutions that help users discover, navigate and choose content\n\nDrive technical initiatives and contribute to architecture and technology decisions\n\nTurn user needs into working technical solutions together with product and design\n\nUse AI tools as a natural part of the development process\n\nAbout you\nYou are an experienced fullstack engineer with a clear focus on modern frontend development and mature engineering judgement.
