Working under the guidance of senior engineers and solution architects, the intern will contribute to a defined proof of concept or pilot while gaining hands-on experience across the AI solution lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop a focused AIsolutionusing Python, REST APIs, Azure SDKs, Azure OpenAI,Azure MCPand Microsoft Foundry.\nAssistwith prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool calling, AI agents, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions.\nBuild or support integrations with Azure AI Search, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and approved enterprise APIs.\nPrepare andvalidateapproved data for AI use cases, including document chunking, metadata creation, embeddings, and search indexing.\nCreate unit, integration, and AI evaluation tests covering accuracy, relevance,groundedness, safety, and edge cases.\nIdentifyhallucinations, unsupported responses, prompt-injection risks, and content-filtering issues.\nApply responsible AI and security practices, including least-privilege access, managed identities, Azure Key Vault, and protection of sensitive data.\nMaintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, test evidence, setup instructions, and troubleshooting guidance.\nOur paid 10-week Summer Developmental Internship program runs from June 8th - August 13th, 2026.
