This role will be responsible for assisting with data management activities that include maintaining real-time dashboards, conducting quality assurance activities, supporting active research studies, and working across units within the Bureau. This position is ideal for an analytical thinker who enjoys various responsibilities-ranging from hands-on statistical analysis to project coordination and mentorship.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in public health, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Statistics, Sociology or a related field; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and two years of research experience in the collection and analysis of data; OR four years of such experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Statistics or related field and one year of experience in data analysis, collection and review. Experience and proficiency with spreadsheet, database, and report writing, using software applications such as SAS, Excel, Access, or similar. Experience with relational databases and with writing SQL queries to analyze data. Experience using Tableau to develop dashboards. Experience working in a cancer registry and/or working with cancer data.\nConditions of Employment\nGrant funded position.
