You'll work with raw footage and transform it into compelling, performance-driven ads optimized for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. This role is focused almost entirely on editing performance marketing creative that drives purchases, improves ad performance, and helps scale spend.\nThis is more than a traditional editing role. Your creative work will have a direct and measurable impact on business performance, with significant opportunities for growth, ownership, and additional earnings based on the performance of the ads you create.\nWhat You Will Do\nEdit and produce high-quality video assets across social media, paid ads, websites, and campaign initiatives.\nCraft compelling narratives with strong hooks, pacing, and platform-optimized storytelling techniques.\nTransform UGC, influencer content, and brand footage into polished, performance-driven deliverables.\nIntegrate motion graphics, captions, music, and sound design to elevate overall content quality and engagement.\nConvert long-form content into high-performing short-form formats, including TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.\nPartner with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure alignment with brand and campaign objectives.\nManage multiple projects with fast turnaround times while maintaining strict adherence to brand standards and evolving platform best practices.\nAnalyze creative performance and use data, testing, and learnings to continuously improve future ads.\nWho You Are\nBachelor's degree in Media, Film, Communications, or a related field (preferred).\n2-4 years of video editing experience in fast-paced environments such as agency, DTC, or E-Commerce.\nAdvanced skills in editing tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent platforms.\nExposure to AI-driven video tools such as Runway ML or similar platforms to enhance creative production and efficiency.\nStrong understanding of content formats and performance dynamics across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Meta.\nAbility to edit with a focus on storytelling and marketing outcomes, including CTR, engagement, conversion, and ROAS.\nExperience in motion graphics, basic animation, sound design, and a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, high-performing content.\nSkilled storyteller with a sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of current creative trends.\nAble to thrive under tight deadlines in a high-growth environment.\nTeam-oriented yet independent, with a data-driven mindset and a desire to test, optimize, and improve creative performance.\nPerformance-Based Bonuses & Growth\n At Nysonian, high performance is rewarded.\nYour bonus is tied to the objective performance of the ad creatives you produce.
