If you thrive in a busy environment, and are looking for a great place to work with highly engaged employees, then our plant in Auburn is the place for you.\n The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor assists the Plant Engineer in leading and directing salaried and hourly personnel engaged in all phases of the plant engineering function (General Maintenance, Cold End Mechanization, and the Batch and Furnace department). This includes installation, repair and maintenance of all plant systems, equipment, grounds and facilities. Supports compliance efforts with local, state and federal regulations concerning environmental affairs, OSHA, NFPA, and other governing agencies.\nThe Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will:\nAssist in directing preventive maintenance programs\nConducts periodic inspections of all plant systems, equipment, facilities and grounds. Assists in implementing corrective actions when necessary. Oversees all changes or upgrades. \nResponsible for the quality of all work performed by maintenance and production employees assigned to the Electrical / Electronic Technician group.\nCoordinates and supervises all construction and service work performed by outside contractors as directed.\nAssists in overseeing health and safety issues affecting ergonomic factors\nSupervises training of personnel to ensure all electricians and electronic techs are properly trained to perform all aspects of their roles, while ensuring efficiency and high standards are maintained\nCommunicates and directs the application of prescribed safety and environmental regulations\nEnsures correct use of safety equipment and that company safety policies are followed\nMay oversee parts of our plant apprenticeship program\nThe Electrical Maintenance Supervisor should have:\nStrong maintenance background as an Electrician or Electronic Tech in an industrial environment\nIn depth knowledge of Plant Electrical Systems, Control Systems, PLCs, AC Motor Drives, Robots and/or Quality Inspection Systems and Hot End Electronics\nExperience with Lean Six Sigma principles, while developing a continuous improvement culture that involves all relevant hourly and salaried personnel\nExperience with maintenance management software (preferably SAP)\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization \nThis position reports directly to the Plant Engineer.\n High School diploma or equivalent required\nBachelor Degree in Engineering or additional training (college, military, apprenticeship programs, etc.) is preferred \nThree (3) to five (5) years of supervisory experience in manufacturing\nGlass industry experience is highly preferred\nProficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)\nMust be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis \n What we offer at O-I:\nSalary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $115,000 and includes a possible 12 % short-term incentive bonus.
