The\nThe EH&S Specialist Will:\nSupport EHS programs, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across North America including safety, environmental, and contractor safety programs.\nCoordinate incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions and critical risk management activities.\nMaintain EHS metrics, reporting, training, and compliance documentation.\nAnalyze EHS performance data and assist with audits, inspections, and corrective actions.\nPartner with operations leaders to strengthen safety culture and environmental stewardship.\n\nThe EH&S Specialist Should Have:\nExperience in Environmental, Health & Safety within a manufacturing or industrial setting.\nKnowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance programs.\nStrong organizational and documentation skills.\nAbility to analyze data, track metrics, and follow through on action plans.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees at all levels.\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS\nApproximately 25% travel required.\nMust be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.\n Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field.\n1-5 years of environmental, health, and safety compliance experience.\nKnowledge of life safety codes and EHS regulations.\nUnderstanding of U.S. and Canadian regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, CSA, etc.).\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and technical data interpretation skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively and build relationships across all levels of the organization.\nProfessional certification such as GSP or ASP preferred.\n What we offer at O-I:\nSalary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $85,000.
