O-I is a company that is committed to fostering an inclusive environment and offers opportunities for growth and advancement.\n The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager (Manufacturing) acts as a strategic partner and change agent, working with the NA Environmental and Health & Safety Departments to ensure consistent execution of regional EH&S policies and strategies. This role advises site leadership on EH&S objectives, challenges the status quo to drive improvement, and confidently pushes back when needed to maintain compliance and best practices. The position integrates EH&S into site culture and leads all phases of the plant’s environmental, health, and safety programs.\nThe Environmental, Health & Safety Manager (EHS) will:\nProvide support across three sites: Crenshaw Plant, Brockway Plant, and Plant 76 Machine Repair Facility.\nExperience leading, planning, and promoting all phases of the plant safety program.\nBe able to implement, administer and advise others on hazard controls and hazard control programs.\nExperience participating in state and federal OSHA inspections\nThe skills to coordinate the plant accident and investigation program, including the maintenance of required OSHA reports.\nExperience conducting mandated employee health and safety training programs\nThe ability to assist Regional EH&S staff in the quantification, evaluation and control of employee exposure to potential occupational health hazards\nThe Environmental, Health & Safety Manager (EHS) should have:\nExperience leading, planning, and promoting all phases of the plant safety program.\nBe able to implement, administer and advise others on hazard controls and hazard control programs.\nExperience participating in state and federal OSHA inspections\nThe skills to coordinate the plant accident and investigation program, including the maintenance of required OSHA reports.\nExperience conducting mandated employee health and safety training programs\nThe ability to assist Regional EH&S staff in the quantification, evaluation and control of employee exposure to potential occupational health hazards\n Bachelor’s degree required \n5+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant performing Environmental, Health and Safety activities \nExperience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or facilities is preferred.\nASP, CSP, or CIH certification is preferred \nAble to certify OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training is preferred\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\n Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $110,000 and includes a possible12% quarterly incentive bonus.
