We are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for a variety of projects. \nEmployee Benefits:\n100% paid base coverage (Health, Vision, & Dental insurance).\n401(k)\nPaid Holidays\nPaid Sick\nPaid Vacation\nEAP - Employee Assistance Program\nO2EPCM, Inc. https://o2epcm.com/ \nPosition: Project Engineer III\nSalary Range: $121,000 - $126,000 \nLocation: Onsite (Los Angeles, CA) \nType: Full-Time \nPosition Description:\nProvide technical and administrative support for the Program Management Office (PMO)\nConstruction Department and the District Facilities, Planning, and Development (FPD) department,\nexclusively on Bond funded projects.\nTrack and follow up with the owner/design team/construction team RFIs and submittals as required\nduring design, pre-bid, and construction phases.\nPerform internal reviews of Change Orders (CO), Field Orders (FO) and other contractual\ndocuments for Districtwide Design/Construction projects.\nCoordinate with PMO staff and District FPD on the review and processing of Change Orders for all\nactive construction projects.\nPerform detailed review of Change Order documents for completeness and accuracy.\nParticipate in coordination meetings to facilitate timely reviews.\nMaintain Change Order Logs and other tracking documents for PMO and LACCD FPD use and\nreference\nAbility to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.\nAssist in preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for management review.\nCollects, tracks, reviews lessons learned and submits for closeouts and for management review.\nMonitor changes and revisions to ensure timely processing of Change Orders and Field Orders.\nSubmits CO and FO for final PMO and District approvals.\nReview and follow Standard Operating Procedures for CO Processing.\nFacilitate resolution of conflicts and issues to maintain timely workflow.\nAssist in coordination meetings with the District Office and Stakeholders.\nGenerate and distribute meeting minutes to confirm discussions.\nMaintain electronic files and records for all reviews.\nPerform other job-related duties as assigned.\nMaintains log of daily tasks and submits a monthly to management for review.\nPerform other relatively similar administrative duties as directed by the PMO and District FPD.\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\nMinimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in a similar role or position in construction.\nBS/BA Degree in construction, engineering, or architecture.
