This role will be responsible for transforming complex operational and business data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.\n\nThe ideal candidate combines strong technical and analytical capabilities and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear, meaningful way. This individual will partner closely with departments throughout the company to understand business needs, analyze trends, develop data repository, and develop analytical solutions.\n\nThe position will also support the development of Oak Harbor's overall data and analytics capabilities including hub and spoke architecture, AI-ready data platform, data pipeline, quality data, and automation.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nAnalyze, profile, document, clean, validate, transform, and organize enterprise data.\nDesign, develop, support, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT processes that move data from operational systems into a centralized data hub.\nDevelop repeatable processes for acquiring, transforming, storing, and publishing enterprise data.\nCreate and maintain documentation covering data sources, definitions, transformations, dependencies, lineage, and integrations.\nIdentify and resolve data-quality, completeness, consistency, and integration issues.\nWork with IT Developers, Infrastructure, Application Support, and outside vendors to make application and vendor data available to the enterprise data platform.\nSupport APIs, database connections, data extracts, files, and other approved methods for bringing data into the data hub.\nServe as a DataFi (data visualization application) administrator and platform subject-matter expert.\nAdminister the organization's certification process for departmental DataFi developers and citizen developers.\nEstablish and enforce DataFi development, testing, publishing, documentation, security, and governance standards\nPlatform administrator and subject-matter expert for enterprise data visualization platform DataFi and establish appropriate development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production-support standards.\nWork with business stakeholders and departmental analysts to establish common data definitions, ownership, stewardship, and data-quality expectations\nServe as a technical owner and administrator of the enterprise data hub, monitoring nightly data loads, ETL processes, platform performance, data availability, capacity, usage, and security; Ensure production data assets are properly documented, supported, governed, and assigned appropriate ownership\nAssist in developing reports, dashboards, analytics, and data visualizations using DataFi, Power BI, Teams, and SharePoint.\nAssist departments in identifying appropriate sources of enterprise data for reports and analytical solutions.\nCollaborate closely with departmental data analysts to understand business requirements and make governed enterprise data available for departmental use.\nAssist citizen developers in moving solutions from development into controlled and supportable production environments.\nDevelop and maintain AI ready data platform with security, access control, data governance and compliance in mind\nExperience, Skills and Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.\nEquivalent combinations of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.\n3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a related discipline\nExperience with enterprise data analytics, data engineering, Microsoft SQL databases, business intelligence environments, and data warehousing solutions.\nAbility to demonstrate critical and holistic thinking.\nThe ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams\nStrong SQL skills and data modeling for analytics.\nExperience developing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft ADF, and other data transformation processes.\nExperience with data cleansing, profiling, validation, and data-quality management.\nExperience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.\nExperience with data lakes or other centralized data repository, cloud data platforms, data warehouses, or similar enterprise data architecture.\nExperience implementing data governance, data security, access control, and data pipelines.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate technical data concepts effectively to both technical and business audiences.\nPython or other scripting/programming language experience strongly preferred.\nExperience with APIs, and enterprise data integration technologies.\nExperience with Power BI, Teams, SharePoint preferred.\nStrong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across IT and business departments.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently.\nExperience working with transportation, logistics, supply chain, or freight data preferred.\nExperience working with AI and ML preferred.\nCuriosity and willingness to continuously learn new technologies, analytical techniques, and business
