Are you ready to be a part of our journey?\nWe are looking for a dependable, safety-focused Forklift Operator to load, unload, and move freight efficiently while preventing damage. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced dock environment.\nResponsibilities:\nSafely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks within specified timelines.\nResponsible for noting and recording exception in count or condition of shipments to minimize cargo claims. \nManagement of paperwork: i.e., check of accuracy and completion of delivery receipts, bills of lading, trailer manifests, counting freight, accuracy of hazardous material shipments, special loading, and handling instructions. \nResponsible for regrouping shipments as needed. \nAbility to meet the Company's reliability standard for employees.\nAvailability to work various shifts during the week to accommodate business needs.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nMust be at least 18 years old. \nA High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent is strongly preferred. \nPrevious warehouse or like experience strongly preferred. \nForklift experience is strongly preferred. \nSimple arithmetic, weight and/or measuring is required. \nExperience using tools, machines, and special equipment: hand truck, four-wheel dock cart, pallet jack, barrel truck, dock plates, load locks and/or rope is preferred. \nThe ability to communicate in a positive, effective manner with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/ managers.\nExperience in an LTL operation preferred.\nBasic English language proficiency (reading, writing and verbal) is
