We build and optimize registration flows and onboarding forms used by our clients for a seamless, secure onboarding experience.\nWe place a strong emphasis on continuous improvement, autonomy, cross-team collaboration, and clean architecture.\nWe work in a hybrid model in Cracow, Zabłocie.\nAs a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:\nDrive the architecture, design, build, and maintain dynamic onboarding forms and registration workflows using React.js and Python (FastAPI).\nOversee and implement third-party vendor service integrations (APIs/SDKs), ensuring reliability, and collaborate closely with external providers and internal teams across the organization.\n Independently own features and technical initiatives end-to-end - from technical design, analysis, and problem-solving to production deployment.\nEnsure clear communication in English across cross-functional teams, technical stakeholders, and business partners, driving technical alignment and pragmatic solutions.\nWrite clean, testable, and efficient code adhering to software engineering best practices (SOLID, Clean Code), championing code quality and conducting constructive code reviews.\nChampion and integrate modern developer tooling (including Claude Code and AI assistants) to streamline development, refactoring, and process automation across the team.\nLead team technical discussions, mentor other engineers, and continuously drive improvements in our system architecture. \nWhat skillset you need to be successful in this role:\nExtensive commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer working with React.js and Python (FastAPI).\nDemonstrated experience with system design, clean architecture, and cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform).\nProven experience with third-party vendor API integrations (e.g., identity verification, payment gateways, e-signature).\nStrong command of automated testing tools (PyTest, Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure system reliability.\nStrong English communication skills (C1) for daily collaboration in a multicultural environment and cross-team alignment.\nHigh degree of autonomy, ownership, and the ability to mentor and support peers.\nSolid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC, e.g., Terraform).\nHands-on experience utilizing modern developer tooling, such as AI assistants and Claude Code, in everyday engineering workflows.\nBonus points if you have experience with:\nCommercial background in the FinTech industry (handling sensitive data, compliance, KYC/AML, or payment systems).\nDriving or contributing to organizational/team transformations toward AI-driven development, automated testing, and developer productivity tooling.\n___\nAt OANDA, to help us efficiently process applications, we use AI-driven tools to help source and rank candidates based on professional experience and skills.
