Ready to make an impact in a place where you matter?\n-\nPosition Summary\nThe Receiving Coordinator I/CAN processes inbound customer orders while achieving daily company safety, quality and performance goals and objectives; functional daily responsibilities vary by the needs of the location.\nPosition Responsibilities\nCoordinate incoming truckload deliveries with the schedulers and planners to ensure dock availability and manage priority deliveries.\nEnsure that all incoming orders are processed/scanned correctly including verification of purchase order number, quantity, and any special handling requirements (i.e. Certificates of Analysis) before physical receipt, data entry and put away per the WMS locater system rules.\nProvide information to management regarding any carrier performance issues i.e. damaged loads, improper stacking, shortages, etc.;\nPut away inventory while consolidating inventory locations to improve warehouse efficiency\nKnowledge and Experience\nOne (1) year experience as a Material Handler in a distribution center environment.\nGood communication skills, English fluency, both verbal and written.\nComputer literacy including WMS and Microsoft Office.\nAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.\nMastery of supply-chain logistics management and carrier routing requirements.\nAbility to perform receiving functions including:Check-In/Locate Product\nDock Management\nTroubleshooting\n\nCooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors.\nSolution minded when faced with challenges and problems.\nEducation and Certification\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nMachine Operator License (Walkie, Reach, Picker, Forklift, Fall Arrest)\nThis is an existing vacancy, and we are actively seeking to fill the role.\nArtificial intelligence technology may be used in our hiring process to help screen, assess, or select applicants for this position.\nCompensation Range for the Position:\n$24.00 - $25.00 CAD per hour\nOffer amount determined by experience and review of internal talent.\nOatey Total Rewards\nGenerous paid time off programs to support flexibility and work-life balance\n\nAnnual Discretionary Cash Profit Sharing\n\nRRSP program eligibility with 100% company match, up to 5% of eligible compensation\n\nMarket leading health and insurance benefit package focused on your well-being\n\nTuition reimbursement\n\nA strong set of complementary resources to support associate well-being, including resource groups, EAP, and dedicated mental health support.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThe Oatey family of companies are an equal opportunity employer committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
