Ready to make an impact in a place where you matter?\n-\nPosition Summary:\nThe Senior Analytics Developer delivers trusted business intelligence and analytics solutions across Oatey, partnering with business teams to translate reporting needs into scalable solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and responsible AI. This role owns solutions from requirements through deployment and ongoing support, and reports to the Vice President, Analytics.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nPartner with business teams to understand processes, define key performance indicators (KPIs), analytical questions, requirements, and acceptance criteria; own solutions from discovery through source identification, data preparation, semantic modeling, report/dashboard development, validation and business acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, documentation, and support.\nDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models, including advanced DAX, relationships, security requirements, usability, and performance optimization.\nDevelop and maintain analytics-layer transformations and Silver and Gold structures in Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL Server, and related platforms; use Fabric integration and, where applicable, Azure Data Factory to support ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and refresh.\nValidate data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, document business logic and lineage, and collaborate with Data Governance and application teams to resolve data quality or source-system issues.\nUse generative AI to accelerate SQL, DAX, code development, troubleshooting, documentation, and analysis; assess where AI adds value over structured data, validate outputs and controls, protect company data, and retain human accountability for delivered results.\nSupport governed self-service analytics through associate training, documentation, and best-practice guidance on available data, certified semantic models, reporting standards, and appropriate ways to create or use analytics.\nTroubleshoot production analytics issues, respond to assigned support requests, and continuously improve existing solutions for reliability, performance, usability, and business value.\nKnowledge and Experience:\n5+ years of professional experience in analytics, business intelligence, data, or a related analytics role, with demonstrated responsibility for delivering analytics solutions to business users.\nAdvanced Power BI experience in reports, dashboards, DAX, relationships, and performance optimization, with strong semantic modeling skills across facts, dimensions, grain, measures, business definitions, and reusable structures.\nAdvanced SQL skills and strong knowledge of relational data concepts, including the ability to query, transform, validate, and troubleshooting data used in analytics solutions.\nPreferred experience with Microsoft Fabric or a comparable modern cloud analytics platform; working knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and analytics-layer data preparation.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills; able to translate business questions into technical requirements, explain analytics to technical and non-technical audiences, conduct small-group training, and create reusable best-practice guidance.\nDemonstrated practical use of generative AI for analytics and code development, including SQL or DAX generation, troubleshooting, documentation, or data analysis, with evidence of critical review, validation, and human ownership of outcomes.\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or retail / commercial business domains is preferred.\nEducation and Certification:\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience with Analytics in lieu of a degree.\nPhysical Activities and Other Working Conditions:\nAssociates working at Corporate sites are required to work in-person according to the Hybrid & Remote Workplace Policy.\nThis role is primarily sedentary and involves prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Regular use of hands for typing and operating office equipment is required, along with visual focus on screens and documents.
