Responsibilities
We are looking for a full stack engineer who wants to develop and evolve systems powering product and assortment management within a large retail ecosystem. You will contribute to building scalable backend services and frontend applications, working in an event-driven environment. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and architects to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions across the full stack.
Your key responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js.
Translate business and product requirements into scalable and maintainable full stack solutions.
Contribute to event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing using Kafka.
Support integration of systems within AWS cloud and containerized environments.
Work with PostgreSQL and design reliable data models.
Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams and contribute to code quality, testing, and system reliability.
Qualifications
Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field.
3–5 years of experience in full stack development using Java/Kotlin and Vue.js.
Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and frontend-backend integration.
Hands-on experience or exposure to Kafka or similar messaging systems.
Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD, and containerization.
Strong communication skills in English and Polish, with readiness to work in a hybrid model in Katowice.
