You’ll work directly with customers-primarily in the finance sector-to deeply understand their workflows, uncover impactful AI use cases, and translate those into product requirements for our engineering team.\nYou won’t be expected to code, but you’ll need a solid grasp of technical systems and data flows. You’ll partner with full-stack engineers to build secure, scalable integrations with financial systems and deliver solutions that create real business value.\nThis is a hybrid, high-ownership role based in New York, with regular in-office collaboration.\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\nOwn customer success: Serve as the primary product interface to our customers, translating their needs into structured product workstreams.\nDrive discovery and delivery: Work across customer engagements to gather requirements, define MVPs, and guide solution implementation.\nBridge business and engineering: Translate customer workflows into technical integration needs and product specs for engineers.\nDeploy for impact: Participate in onsite/hands-on deployments to ensure successful onboarding and usage of our product.\nDeliver quickly: Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment to prioritize and launch product features quickly and iteratively.\nExpectations:\n\nFinance-savvy: You understand financial systems and data flows or have worked in a finance-adjacent role (e.g., fintech, investment banking, or management consulting).\nCustomer-obsessed: You’re comfortable interfacing with clients, unblocking deployments, and delivering value.\nTechnically fluent: While you won't be coding, but we expect you to build prototypes (using AI coding tools)\nStructured thinker: You can distill ambiguity into clear problem statements and action plans.\nBuilder mindset: You thrive in zero-to-one environments and are comfortable wearing multiple hats.\nExperience:\n\n3-6 years of experience in Product, strategy, consulting, or similar roles in Financial services\n\nStrong exposure to technical concepts, ideally working closely with full-stack or infrastructure engineers\nBackground in finance, fintech, or management consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or investment banking are strong pluses)\nExperience and/or Educational background from Top institutions in Finance/Investment Management/Private Equity and similar areas is highly preferred.\nBase compensation range:\n$150,000 - $190,000\nPlus Annual Bonus + Equity\nAbout Us:\nObin AI is an enterprise artificial intelligence company building the next generation of agentic intelligence for financial services.
