and/or unit development and/or review;\nAssist in the development of course material\nAssist in the development and delivery of practical hands-on laboratory and workshop sessions on campus\nReview and edit course teaching materials and liaise with other teaching staff on the effective use of these materials and activities.\nWhere the On-Campus Lecturer is appointed as a Unit Coordinator they are to fulfill all aspects of that role\nto consult with and support on-campus students for the unit/s being taught;\nParticipate in Course Advisory Committees, Board of Studies and other faculty meetings as applicable;\nParticipate in personal development activities in teaching and learning;\nParticipate and assist with accreditation and audit related matters;\nPoint of contact for prospective students, current students, course advisors, lecturers and supervisors (for Bachelor and Master courses) and following up on matters of concern;\nSupport and supervise on-campus and online courses;\nProvide support for other positions during absences.\nCOURSE DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN\nQuality enhancement of unit/s and/or course through responding to formal and informal student feedback and self-reflection, regularly liaising with other teaching staff and liaising with curriculum design staff.\nEnhancements to teaching materials, activities and assessments are undertaken in response to student feedback, and in consultation with all unit teaching staff and the Head of School\n ASSESSMENT, GRADING & MODERATION\nModerate teaching approaches and student assessments\nConduct RPL assessments as required\nEnsure the timely return of marked student assignments.\nEnsure the timely entry of all assessment marks/grades into the Learning Management System (Moodle).\nRESEARCH AND SCHOLARSHIP\nTo initiate and execute research projects which lead to publication in leading, international academic journals;\nTo assist with applications for nationally competitive research grants and industry research funding;\nTo participate in conferences, webinars, technical presentations as applicable\nContinually develop and enhance personal scholarly standing\n ANNUAL REVIEW AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT\nParticipate in annual course review and improvement, according to the requirements of company's review timelines for these processes as described in company's Course Review and Quality Assurance Policy and Procedure.\nReview and evaluate units and/or courses in relation to the Course and Unit Learning\nOutcomes and to provide written and/or verbal inputs to the relevant oversight committee(s).\nRespond to formal and informal student feedback and self-reflection, regularly liaising with teaching staff, and liaising with curriculum design staff.\n ADMINISTRATION, MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP\nLiaise with on-campus students and the Engineering and College communities as appropriate.\nEnsure all course-related administrative requirements are met including the timely submission of unit outlines, textbook requirements, development and operation of the\ncourse page within the learning management system (Moodle), and the submission of final grades.\nFulfil the obligations of the position in respect to organisation-wide responsibilities including copyright, workplace bullying and harassment, codes of conduct, workplace health and safety, multi-skilling and record management and compliance with all company policies and external accreditation and/or professional body requirements.\nArrange face to face or online teaching team planning / briefing / debriefing meetings to provide information and materials required for the unit and to discuss assessment\nrequirements / moderation (prior to and during the teaching period)\nMentor, coach and assist academic staff, as needed\nMonitor academic staff performance, as needed\nCollaborate with administrative staff to monitor timetabling, class registration and all other administrative requirements for students and/or teaching staff have been completed.\nLiaise with technical / support staff to ensure appropriate resources are available for all classes for students and teaching staff.\nTo serve on administrative committees, as applicable\nTo represent company and the Engineering discipline to the wider community by fostering, promoting and developing links with industry, government, academic and professional bodies\nTo contribute as a team-player to the activities of company's academic team\nTo participate in planning activities;\nTo participate in marketing company's courses where appropriate\nPerform a range of administrative functions and any other duties as reasonably directed by your
