You’ll work closely with engineering and cross-functional product teams to ensure we are building strong platform capabilities that support both current needs and future growth.\nWhat you’ll own\nCore platform capabilities that support multiple product experiences\nThird-party and PMS integrations\nAPI design and system contracts across internal services and external partners\nInternal tools and configuration layers that support operations and product scalability\nShared workflows and data models across product areas\nPlatform quality, scalability, and long-term maintainability\nResponsibilities\nDefine and evolve platform capabilities in close partnership with engineering\nShape APIs, workflows, and data models that are scalable, reusable, and reliable\nDrive consistency across integrations and system behaviors\nPartner with product managers to ensure feature development is supported by strong underlying platform foundations\nTranslate product and business needs into structured platform solutions\nIdentify bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and manual processes, and turn them into scalable systems\nBalance near-term delivery needs with long-term platform health\nImprove the way internal teams interact with and operate the platform\nRequirements\n4+ years of product management experience\nExperience working on platform, infrastructure, or integration-heavy products\nStrong technical fluency and comfort working on backend, system, and data flow problems\nExperience partnering closely with engineering on technical design and implementation tradeoffs\nAbility to simplify complexity and turn broad problems into clear, scalable solutions\nExperience working with external systems, third-party integrations, or multi-system environments\nNice to have\nExperience in payments, fintech, or operationally complex systems\nExperience building internal tools, configuration systems, or workflow products\nWhat success looks like\nNew integrations are easier and faster to implement\nPlatform capabilities are reused across products instead of rebuilt each time\nInternal teams have better tools and fewer manual workarounds\nThe system becomes easier to maintain, extend, and scale as the business grows\nAbout Obligo\nObligo is the simplest way to build trust between renters and landlords.
