Every interaction matters, so you will need to enjoy meeting people, communicate clearly and take pride in providing a positive customer experience with every delivery.\nYour routes will be planned in advance and your van will be pre-loaded before you leave the site, allowing you to focus on driving safely and delivering excellent service.\nYou will be out on the road in all weather conditions, working independently while staying connected to your site team. You will also have your own space in the cab, so there is no fighting over the radio station and you can sing along as loudly as you like!\nWhat we need from you\nYou do not need previous delivery-driving experience, as our training team will give you all the support you need to succeed.\nThis role is about more than driving. You will be the friendly face our customers see at their door, so we are looking for people who enjoy meeting others, communicate confidently and take pride in delivering excellent service with every order.\nYou will need:\nA full UK or EU driving licence.\nAt least 12 months of driving experience.\nNo more than six penalty points on your licence.\nNo driving disqualifications within the last five years.\nGood communication and customer service skills.\nA friendly, professional and helpful approach.\nThe confidence to work independently.\nThe ability to work the advertised shift pattern.\nSome deliveries include alcohol products, so you must be aged 18 or over to apply.\nWhat the role involves\nThis is a delivery-driving role with a strong focus on customer service.\nAs a Customer Service Team Member, you will:\nDrive delivery van safely and responsibly.\nDeliver customer orders accurately and on time.\nProvide a warm, friendly and professional service at every doorstep.\nHandle customers’ shopping carefully.\nCommunicate clearly and helpfully with customers and colleagues.\nRespond appropriately when a customer has a question or concern.\nFollow safe driving, delivery and manual-handling procedures.\nRepresent Ocado Logistics positively within the local community.\nWork independently while remaining connected to your site team.\nRevised requirements section\nAbout Ocado Logistics\nHere at Ocado Logistics, our people, technology and customers work side by side supporting the amazing communities we serve.
