As a Technology Infrastructure Specialist at OCBC, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our systems and infrastructure are secure, efficient, and always available. You'll need to be proactive, collaborative, and always looking for ways to improve our systems and processes.\nWhat you do\nYou partner with various technology teams to design and deliver a reliable, scalable, secure, and performant Red Hat Linux Platform.\n\nYou stay current on technical trends to suggest innovative tools and approaches to interesting problems in the Bank.\n\nYou share your expertise with the entire Engineering /Operations organization.\n\nYou participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and drive improvements using SRE practices.\n\nYou actively participate in toil elimination, observability and monitoring improvements, knowledge management, error budget compliance, deployment designs and testing.\n\nWho you are\n10-15 years of experience in managing Linux or Unix based infrastructure preferably in a banking domain.\n\nInstall, Maintain, Upgrade and Patch UNIX servers in the organization.\n\nTroubleshoot and fix system and software/hardware issues.\n\nSupport and maintain High Availability of system using clustering software.\n\nSecure the systems by following published hardening guidelines.\n\nAssist in audit and compliance tasks.\n\nPerform Disaster Recovery activities.\n\nA passion for problem solving with strong analytical capabilities.\n\nSupporting OS instances on-premises cloud and on public cloud providers like AWS, Oracle Cloud etc.\n\nKnow at least one of {Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Java, C++, C#, Go} at an intermediate level.\n\nExperience in automating releases, continuous integration/delivery systems and relevant tools in infrastructure.\n\nExperience / understanding of Software Defined Data Centre, AWS/Azure-based, cloud-native infrastructure and managed services, such as, EC2, S3 and other storage options, VPCs, IAM.\n\nExperience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).\n\nKnowledge of configuration management systems like SCCM, Ansible, Puppet, Chef\n\nYou consider it important to understand and appreciate your customers and enjoy seeing your work improve the work of others.\n\nAbility to mentor, coach and develop team members to reach their potential.\n\nExperience in resource allocation and workload balancing.\n\nDemonstrates accountability, ownership, and initiative.\n\nWho we are\nAs Singapore's longest established bank, we have been dedicated to enabling individuals and businesses to achieve their aspirations since 1932.
