The role covers solution development from requirements definition through management approval and handover to delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, operational considerations, and budget constraints.\nThe role requires 8-10 years of relevant experience in a bank, system integrator, or technology distributor, with strong exposure to network and security solutioning. The engineer may act as the technical subject matter expert (SME) or coordinate inputs from other domain specialists, while remaining accountable for the overall solution outcome.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead network and network security solutioning activities from requirement intake through approval and transition to delivery.\n\nTake end-to-end accountability for solution design, including scope, architecture alignment, security controls, resilience, and delivery readiness.\n\nAct as the network/security SME where applicable, providing technical direction and design leadership.\n\nWhere not the SME, coordinate and manage inputs from internal SMEs and vendors to ensure a complete and consistent solution.\n\nEnsure all solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and operational guidelines.\n\nPrepare technical solution proposals that are clear, structured, and suitable for management consumption, including:\ndesign options and trade-offs\n\nkey risks and mitigations\n\noperational and security implications\n\nPresent and articulate solution proposals to management, translating technical complexity into business-relevant considerations such as risk, resilience, and cost.\n\nEngage vendors to source solution costs, validate assumptions, and consolidate costs across components.\n\nProduce management-friendly cost proposals aligned to budget constraints.\n\nSupport procurement activities, including RFP development, technical evaluation, and vendor clarifications.\n\nEnsure timely and clear handover from solutioning to delivery teams.\n\nTechnical Requirements:\nNetwork and Security\nEnterprise firewalls (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto)\n\nNetwork perimeter security, VPNs, remote access technologies\n\nRouting, switching, and enterprise connectivity design\n\nSecurity technologies such as SIEM, DLP, endpoint security, WAF\n\nHybrid and cloud networking concepts\n\nEnterprise Environment\nExperience designing for large-scale, regulated environments\n\nUnderstanding of availability, resilience, and security design principles\n\nRelevant vendor certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.\nCandidate Profile:\n8-10 years of experience in network or security solutioning roles.\n\nProven ability to deliver end-to-end network solutions involving multiple stakeholders.\n\nComfortable owning outcomes even when detailed design inputs are provided by other SMEs.\n\nAble to communicate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences and management.\n\nStructured, disciplined, and comfortable working within governance and approval frameworks.\n\nKey Competencies:\nEnd-to-end solution ownership\n\nStrong network and security solutioning capability\n\nAbility to translate technical risks into business impact\n\nCommercial awareness and cost consolidation skills\n\nVendor engagement and proposal evaluation\n\nExecutive-level communication and presentation skills\n\nOutcome- and delivery-focused mindset\n\nSide Note:\nThis role requires 100% Work in office, based at Tampines/ Punggol\n\nWhat we offer:\nCompetitive base salary.
