Or simply enjoy a vibrant, future-ready career.\nYour Opportunity Starts Here.\nPurpose of the role\nThe role is responsible for the financial reporting and accounting oversight of non-bank subsidiaries, including the preparation of financial statements, management of accounting records, and coordination with external auditors. The incumbent will also oversee fixed assets and leases accounting, and support property & unlisted equities valuation.\nWhat you will be doing:\nFinancial Reporting and Control of Non-Bank Subsidiaries\nManage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for non-bank subsidiaries and ensure timely submission of financial information to Head Office, management, and regulators.\n\nPrepare statutory financial statements, audited accounts, management reports, disclosures, and regulatory returns in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.\n\nLiaise with external auditors and coordinate the annual audit process for non-bank subsidiaries.\n\nPerform financial analysis and provide commentary on key business and financial performance variances for management review.\n\nExecute financial control activities and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of financial reporting.\n\nFixed Assets and Unlisted Investments\nManage accounting, valuation, reporting, and record keeping for unlisted investments, including journal postings, analysis, and annual confirmation exercises.\n\nOversee accounting and reporting for bank premises, including asset capitalization, depreciation, valuation, analysis, and disposals.\n\nManage accounting records for fixed assets, including decoration & fixtures, furniture & equipment, and motor vehicles, ensuring accurate depreciation, analysis, and disposal accounting.\n\nPrepare Head Office, regulatory (HKMA), and financial statement disclosures relating to fixed assets and investments.\n\nOthers\nParticipate in system enhancement projects and process streamlining initiatives;\n\nParticipate in ad hoc projects assigned by supervisor.\n\nWho are we looking for:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably from business, accounting, or related discipline with HKICPA\n\n2-5 years’ practical experience in financial reporting or management reporting in a reputable financial institution or sizable organisation. Experience in Big 4 or accounting firms a plus.\n\nKnowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting processes.\n\nCommunication, interpersonal & presentation skills in both Chinese and English.
