In Bedford, Nova Scotia.\nIn addition to our engineered precast facilities for custom components, Strescon also operates a 32,000 sq. ft. facility in Saint John which manufactures standard concrete products for engineered drainage systems, such as pipe, manholes and catch basins.\nJob Summary\nThe Business Development Associate supports Strescon’s growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting proposal and market development activities. This role works closely with senior leadership, estimating, engineering, and operations teams to help expand Strescon’s market presence and secure both public and private sector work.\nThe ideal candidate is commercially minded, relationship-focused, and comfortable navigating a technical construction environment.\n Travel throughout Nova Scotia to maintain existing and develop new relationships with contractors, developers, and the design community\nAssist in developing strategies for further development of sales with existing and potential clients ensuring sales targets set by the company are met.\nProvide technical leadership to customers helping them understand the benefits / advantages of using pre-cast concrete products\nAct as liaison with customer and internal team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution\nSales tracking and following potential projects through CRM software\nSoliciting and developing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors\nRepresent the Company at professional events\nHelp with electronic marketing campaigns through LinkedIn and other social media platforms\nAdditional duties as assigned\n Technical Requirements\nPost-secondary diploma in a technology and/or Engineering degree would be an asset.
