The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering construction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget.\nThe Project Manager organizes day-to-day project activities, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, and monitors progress to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities\nSupport pre-construction activities, including planning, tendering, and scope development\nIssue and administer subcontracts and purchase orders\nCoordinate daily construction activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and cost tracking\nMonitor project financial performance through cost control, reporting, and change management\nWork closely with project superintendents to coordinate labour and subcontractors to meet project milestones\nIdentify issues and work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve them in a timely manner\nMaintain professional communication with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders\nDevelop and maintain project schedules to ensure timelines are met\nLead regular project meetings with clients and internal/external project teams\nUse project management tools and technology to support efficient project execution\nAssist the estimating team with budgeting and proposal support for projects across Atlantic Canada, including occasional travel\nComplete other duties as required\nTechnical Requirements\nCivil or Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma from an accredited institution\nIndustrial project experience is considered an asset\nExperience with Microsoft Project, cost control systems, and project management software\nFamiliarity with BIM and 3D modeling tools is considered an asset\nBusiness Requirements\nStrong time management and organizational skills\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and client-focused environment\nCultural Requirements\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across various disciplines\nTeam-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement\nAs a member of the OSCO Construction Group, FCC offers a comprehensive compensation package including health and dental coverage, life insurance, RRSP and tax-free savings account options.
