This position reports to the Senior Manager- Accounting and will provide a broad range of services and support to Ocean Capital Holdings Limited (OCHL) and related companies. The successful candidate will join an experienced team of Senior Finance, Investment, and Accounting professionals. As an integral member of the accounting team, you will play a critical role in financial reporting, daily accounting functions cash management and process improvement initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrepare monthly consolidated and non-consolidated financial statements and schedules, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis for multiple companies and present to Senior Leadership.\nCoordinate with operational finance teams to prepare consolidated financial reports and analysis.\nPrepare annual budgets and schedules including management reporting.\nAssist in creation of annual management and shareholder reporting.\nManage day-to-day transactional processing: billing, cash forecasting.\nBe a key resource to support and engage with audit processes - internal and external.\nAssist with the development and implementation of formalized accounting and reporting policies and standards.\nAssist in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives within our team and cross functional teams.\nRequired education, experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nChartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation.\n5-7 years of progressive accounting experience post CPA completion.\nDegree in Business Administration.\nExperience with consolidated financial statements and US GAAP would be considered strong assets.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nExperience with mid-market to top tier ERP system.\nExperience in applying foreign currency translation methods and managing exchange rate impacts in financial reporting and consolidations.\nStrong presentation skills, capable of delivering complex financial information in an engaging and accessible manner.\nProven experience collaborating with and presenting to senior leadership.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nStrong sense of ownership and accountability.\nIndustry experience considered an asset.\nManagerial or supervisory experience considered an asset.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nReliable self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.\nMeticulous attention to detail and accuracy.\nDemonstrated commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.\nProviding the opportunities for career and professional
