We find innovative reliable solutions for some of the world’s most complex geotechnical problems.\nWe are committed to supporting the global transition towards fossil-fuel free living, enabling people and the planet to thrive.\nThe Laboratory Compliance Lead is responsible for the maintenance, development and continual improvement of the laboratory management system, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements applicable to laboratory operations.\nThe role provides independent oversight of laboratory compliance activities, ensuring that management systems remain effective, documentation is controlled, competency is maintained, equipment calibration programmes are delivered, and non-conformances are effectively managed.\nWorking closely with technical, operational and business support teams, the Laboratory Compliance Lead will promote a culture of continual improvement, accountability, impartiality and operational excellence. The role is not responsible for routine laboratory testing activities but provides assurance that systems, processes and records support the delivery of valid and reliable results.\nResponsibilities\nManagement System Compliance\nMaintain and continually improve the laboratory management system.\nSupport compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements applicable to laboratory operations.\nMonitor compliance against internal procedures, accreditation requirements and company policies.\nSupport and coordinate management review activities.\nMonitor quality objectives, KPIs and improvement plans.\nMaintain accreditation and certification readiness across the laboratory.\nRequirements\nExperience working within a laboratory quality or compliance environment\nStrong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and laboratory accreditation requirements.\nUnderstanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.\nExperience maintaining and improving quality management systems, procedures and controlled documentation.\nExperience supporting audits, non-conformances, corrective actions and continual improvement.\nKnowledge of equipment calibration, competency management and laboratory record keeping.\nStrong attention to detail with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work independently and maintain accreditation and audit readiness.\nBenefits\nSalary: Up to 55,000 GBP per
