Sr. Process Engineer

Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays and Fridays remote.

In this role, the Sr. Process Engineer is responsible for development, scale up, and qualification of equipment and processes to support global base business, innovation, and manufacturing process optimization initiatives, as well as design and integration of new cutting-edge process technology. He/she collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve business and technical objectives and contribute subject matter expertise. Additionally, the Sr. Process Engineer communicates results and aligns key stakeholders, interfaces with external vendors and industry trade organizations, and provides technical leadership to OS and partner manufacturing facilities.

A Day in the Life...

• Contributeprocess engineeringexpertiseto cross functional teams to inform successful design, scale up, and qualification of new products and processes.

• Lead technical assessment, validation,and commissioningofprocessesat OS and partner manufacturing facilities, collaborating with RDS functional peers to meet business objectives.

• Identify, validateand implement, modificationsto processes to improve productionyields, throughput of batching and thermal processing, utility savings, process control, and otherrelevant operational targets.

• Apply standard engineering techniques in the analysis of existing operational areas from raw materials to finished packagesto troubleshoot process related production challengesandrecommend corrective actions.

• Lead design, development, and executionofexperimentsin the pilot-plantand with strategic vendor partnersto informprocessscale up, troubleshooting,research, and new technologyexploration.

• Develop and implement process specifications, standardsand best practices in collaboration with operations and cross functional subject matter experts

• Maintain an up-to-date awareness of Federal, State, and Local engineering codes,regulations, and industrybest practices

What We Are Looking For:

Required

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent

• 5+years of relevant experiencein process engineeringorR&D, preferably infood/beverage

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

• Creative thinker with a passion for Innovation, problem solving, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence

• Highly organized, adaptable, self-starter able to effectively manage multiple projects

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsand demonstratedability to lead cross functional project teams

Preferred

• Experience with data analysis and visualization in Python or similar tools

Education:

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)

At least 5 Years of Experience

Annual Salary:

$96,200 - $120,200

The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position’s typical hiring range.
