The duties of this position may change from time to time and includes basic food preparations and stocking needs.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThere are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCarry out basic cleaning tasks\n\nCollect pots, pants, dishes, glassware, flatware to be washed and sanitized and returned to appropriate storage areas.\n\nWashes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks\n\nSweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors\n\nBreak down kitchen for clean up\n\nRemove trash and garbage to designated areas\n\nDaily cleaning of all restaurant’s facilities; restrooms and storage areas\n\nTransfers supplies and restaurant equipment from delivery trucks to storage areas\n\nEnsures storage areas are clean and organized\n\nCleans equipment using specific chemicals to insure sanitary standards\n\nMay be required buff floors using heavy equipment and steam cleans trash cans\n\nPreform basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen management team\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment\n\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask\n\nBasic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards\n\nExcellent customer service skills with a polite and attentive demeanor\n\nFlexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays\n\nMay require a food handler's certification, depending on local regulations\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nNo experience is required\n\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:\nMust have a valid form of identification.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\nBasic knowledge of English is highly preferred.\n\nMust have the ability to read, understand and follow both verbal and written company directives and initiatives.\n\nMust demonstrate knowledge and understanding of government policies and regulations.\n\nHave the ability to effectively answer questions and speak before groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public at restaurant locations.\n\nREASONING ABILITY:\nMust have the ability to use common sense to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.\n\nMust have the ability to creatively solve problems in a fast paced environment using experience and an outside-the-box mindset.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
