Reporting to the Head of Sustainability Performance & Reporting, this role will take a lead role in coordinating and strengthening the sustainability and ESG data that underpins our reporting, disclosures and business decisions.\nWorking across our global mining operations and corporate functions, you will bring together environmental, climate, safety, social, workforce, governance and economic data, helping ensure it is accurate, consistent, well governed and ready for reporting and assurance.\nIn this role, you will:\nCoordinate sustainability and ESG data collection across our global operations and corporate functions.\nValidate and analyse data, investigating variances and working with teams to resolve data quality issues.\nMaintain the methodologies, definitions and reporting approaches that underpin OceanaGold's sustainability metrics.\nHelp strengthen data governance, internal controls and reporting processes across the sustainability data lifecycle.\nManage and continuously improve sustainability reporting systems, tools and workflows.\nBuild and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and data visualisations that provide meaningful insights into sustainability performance.\nProvide verified data and supporting evidence for sustainability reporting, climate-related disclosures, regulatory requirements and internal performance reporting.\nSupport reporting against key sustainability frameworks and standards, including IFRS S1 and S2, AASB S1 and S2, GRI, SASB Standards, GISTM, TSM, RGMP, CMSI, the Conflict-Free Gold Standard and UN Global Compact.\nPrepare data, evidence and supporting documentation for external assurance activities and help address findings through to resolution.\nAnalyse sustainability performance to identify trends, emerging issues and opportunities for improvement.\nWork with internal technology teams and system vendors to enhance reporting systems, data integrations and controls.\nPartner with teams across our sites and corporate functions to build consistent, reliable and assurance-ready sustainability reporting practices.\n A degree in either sustainability, environmental science, accounting, finance, technology, engineering, data analytics or a related field.\n2-3 years’ experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental reporting, finance, audit, business intelligence or a similar analytical role.\nExperience in data collection, verification, governance and controls, with an understanding of assurance or audit requirements.\nWorking knowledge of sustainability and climate reporting, including greenhouse gas accounting and Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel capability and exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL or similar tools desirable.\nExperience with enterprise data or sustainability reporting systems, with exposure to platforms such as Workiva ESG, INX, EnviroSys, Snowflake or Pronto advantageous.\nStrong attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple reporting cycles and work effectively across a range of stakeholders.\nMining or resources experience is advantageous, along with the ability to travel to operational sites as required.\n WHAT'S ON OFFER:\nCompetitive salary + short-term and long-term bonuses\nDiscounts on retail and services\nPremium post ride facilities\nWellness room\nOffice surrounded by restaurants, shops and a short stroll to Southbank Parklands\nLiving Our Values recognition program\nAccess to OceanaGold Employee Assistance Program (EAP)\nExceptional working environment where people are valued and respected\nEligibility to Work: To be considered for this role, you must have valid working rights in the country where the role is located.
