To be successful in this role, you should have a sense of genuine, engaging curiosity, and a desire for growth and continuous learning.\nSomeone in this role would typically have a completed Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering with a B average or better and roughly 5+ years of corporate experience.\n Some of your major responsibilities will include:\nIndependent design, analysis, and production of electrical equipment and printed circuit boards.\nTesting, certification, and delivery of space-flight electrical elements.\nExample disciplines: circuit board layout, microprocessor and/or FPGA programming, sensor interfaces and integration, various data communication protocols, BLDC and Stepper motor control, and power system electronics\n Required\nA Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of corporate experience.\nHands-on experience in the design, analysis, production, and testing of digital and analog circuits.\nProficient knowledge of electrical design software tools: Altium and SVN version control for design collaboration at a minimum. Working knowledge of (H/LT/P) SPICE analysis.\nProficient and experienced with either FPGA Programming using VHDL/Verilog and/or C++ programming.\nKnowledge and experience with laboratory test equipment including logic, spectrum, and power analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and emulators for processors/microcontrollers.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nDesired\nFamiliarity with space radiation environments, electromagnetic environments, physical launch environments, and thermal heat dissipation at ambient and vacuum conditions.\nKnowledge aerospace/ government requirements and guidelines including electromagnetic compatibility analysis and testing requirements.\nAdditional Information:\nSupervisory Responsibilities: None. However, this position requires independent design capabilities without consistent needs for mentorship/oversight.\nReporting Relationship: This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Group Manager.
