Our projects are all one-of-a-kind. Projects range from quick burn to lifecycle management of fielded systems. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who is an effective communicator.\n Produce network architecture solutions to meet or exceed system requirements such as latency and redundancy.\n\nResponsible for test efforts to validate and verify network requirements.\n\nPerform trade studies and down selects for networking equipment from a SWaP-C perspective.\n\nCreate security hardened configurations that optimize networking equipment.\n\nLead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for networking issues.\n\nLead small, multi-discipline engineering teams to meet schedule needs.\n\nCommunicate independently and effectively for issue resolution while appropriately interfacing with the team.\n\nCreation and maintenance of project CDRL’s such as test and configuration documents.\n\nSupport testing on the factory floor, offsite, and offshore.\n\nPrepare reports and present results to stakeholders.\n\nSchedules can be demanding throughout the year and occasional work outside normal working hours should be anticipated.\n\n BS Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline. Commensurate experience will be considered.\n\n5+ years of practical experience in network architecture.\n\nUnderstanding of network device configurations and troubleshooting.\n\nUnderstanding of features such as IPSEC, Quality of Services, VLANs and multicast.\n\nExperience implementing different network topologies such as star or mesh.\n\nExperience in deploying, configuring and security hardening embedded networking equipment.\n\nProficiency with the Microsoft 365 environment.\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a United States Government Department of Defense Security Clearance.\n\nMust be a US citizen.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience optimizing network configuration to balance video latency versus quality\n\nExperience with fiber optic communication systems.\n\nExperience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark.\n\nExperience evaluating proof of concept network environments utilizing modeling tools such as Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3 or Keysight Exata.\n\nExperience optimizing latency and quality of streaming services, including protocols like LACP, RSTP and MSTP.\n\nFamiliar with network architectures used in high reliability or fault tolerant networks.\n\nFamiliar with NIST Risk Management Framework process.\n\nActive DoD 8140 approved IAT Level II (or higher) compliant certification. Examples include: CCNA Security, Security+ CE, and CCNP.\n\nExperience optimizing configuration of pub/sub protocols, such as DDS, MQTT or gRPC.\n\nSolid written and oral communications skills, including ability to effectively document, convey, and present engineering concepts and products to team members and customers.\n\nWe offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
