Be comfortable working with and developing relationships with key customers.\nUnderstand existing and new markets and develop strategies to gain or improve a competitive edge for products / services.\nInterface with clients to ensure a positive business relationship from initial interest in products and services through bid submittals, order processing, engineering / technical execution, manufacturing, shipment, invoicing and aftermarket support.\nLead innovation, process transformation, and technology adoption initiatives.\nAbility to engage effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, including Business Partners within Oceaneering organization.\nLead evaluation of acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic investments.\nReshape the business unit on a continuous basis based on client actions, market changes, competitive landscape.\nProvide leadership and oversight for global engineering, project management, manufacturing and sales operations.\nDetermine and recommend capital investment needs to support expansion strategies.\nEstablish governance processes addressing strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks.\nProvide oversight for global bids, projects, license agreements and customer relationships.\nReview and approve commercial / technical bid reviews for key customer proposals.\nProvide leadership that focus on continued cost controls, growth and business success.\nActively support continuous improvement efforts to ensure that business and technical practices remain highly competitive.\nEnsure the continued strength of Oceaneering’s Culture and Core Values; hold employees accountable for commitments.\nDevelop succession planning, leadership development, and workforce strategies.\nBusiness Unit Management:Prepare and deliver monthly Operational Outlook updates\nReview and generate monthly forecasts and plan data\nParticipate in annual planning cycles\nDevelop and maintain MBO’s\nDevelop and maintain annual goals\n\nInitiate and lead critical lessons learned activities to ensure continuous improvement.\nResponsible for administration and execution of company policies and procedures.\nFocus on project execution by improving customer relations, project cost, schedule control, contract management, and risk management.\n REQUIRED\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other technical field.\nDemonstrated strong business acumen with more than ten (10) years of P&L management experience.\nProven track record in developing sales growth and strategies.\nMinimum ten (10) years’ experience in leadership and personnel management.\nMinimum ten (10) years' experience in an engineered-to-order, high-value, low-volume, capital goods manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated ability to lead successful marketing, sales, and negotiation activities.\nAbility to lead high-performance technical organization and to ensure outstanding overall performance.\nBusiness or equivalent experience.\nDESIRED\nMBA\nFifteen years plus (15+) Oil and Gas industry or related
