As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's IT infrastructure. Your role is crucial in identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring data privacy, and maintaining the smooth operation of our systems. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of IT professionals, providing support and expertise to enhance our security posture.
- Implement and manage security protocols and policies to safeguard our systems and data.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to potential security threats.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding security practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Document and report security incidents, maintaining accurate records for audit purposes.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of security breaches and incidents.
- Conduct user awareness training to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in IT security or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of IT security, system management.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including SIEM and vulnerability scanning.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Good understanding of industry standards and best practices, such as ISO 27001, RMF 800-53 Rev 5.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Certifications Security+ or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with cloud security and managing security in cloud environments is an advantage.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to security management.

The salary range for this position is $80,600 - $121,000.
