Handles the completion of paperwork transactions associated with international distribution in a timely manner.\n ESSENTIAL\nPrepares commercial / pro-forma invoices in accordance with recognized international standards.\n\nEnsures that all proper export documentation is prepared to facilitate the export of all goods, and submits same to appropriate transportation providers.\n\nProvide feedback on the status of in process orders to ensure on time completion of schedule milestones.\n\nReview schedules and identify risks / problem issues. Develop work around, contingencies, and expedite materials / information as required.\n\nCommunicate with transport services to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments.\n\nContinuously improve shipping processes to optimize customer support.\n\nReview purchase orders and shipment contents prior to releasing them from our facility.\n\nTrack and analyze mis-shipments to ensure timely resolution.\n\nHas knowledge of the HTS code and is able to self-classify products in many cases or with the help of technical.\n\nIs familiar with the provisions of the EAR and helps support, from an operational perspective, the division's compliance program. Helps obtain appropriate licensing as required by the government through coordination with the Corporate resources.\n\nCommunicates regularly with warehouse, freight forwarders, and transportation to coordinate the movement of material.\n\nProvide accurate hazardous material certificates when shipping hazardous products\n\nProvide required certificates of compliance (fumigation, wood content, etc) for exporting product.\n\nMaintain knowledge of international trade regulations to insure consistent compliance with laws. Is familiar with the regulations of the countries to which the business unit routinely ships.\n\nMaintains copies of all import and export records as required by law.\n\nAssists with AES filings if required.\n\nREQUIRED\nHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or equivalent related work experience.\n\nMinimum of one (1) year related experience in Shipping & Receiving\n\nDESIRED\nPrefers a minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent\n\nBachelor’s Degree.\n\nFive (5) years related experience in Shipping & Receiving; or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.\n\nOil & Gas industry experience preferred.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.\n\nAbility to write simple correspondence.\n\nAbility to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate in both oral and written form.\n\nAbility to analyze situations accurately, utilizing a variety of analytical techniques in order to make well informed decisions.\n\nEnsures that others involved in a project or effort are kept informed about developments and plans.\n\nEnsures that regular consistent communication takes place within area of responsibility.\n\nAbility to work independently and/or collaboratively with business partners.\n\nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and has the willingness to undertake new & challenging assignments.\n\nAbility to resolve problems quickly using sound judgement, reasoning skills and can determine when issues need to be escalated in order to obtain resoultion.\n\nHighly organized, process-driven and has strong follow-up skills.\n\nWorking Conditions\nAlmost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night. \nOccasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace. \nWork surface is stable (flat).\nBenefits Statement\nWe offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
