We are open to considering individuals with the potential to grow and succeed in this role.\n Operational Supervision: Plan, assign, coordinate, and monitor daily warehouse activities. Balance priorities and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.\n\nTeam Guidance and Development: Provide day-to-day direction, onboarding support, coaching, and practical training. Reinforce accountability, teamwork, and adherence to procedures.\n\nInventory Management: Oversee the receipt, inspection, recording, storage, and organization of materials. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, investigation, and corrective action.\n\nOrder Fulfillment: Supervise picking, packing, labeling, staging, and preparation of materials and orders for internal use or shipment.\n\nShipping and Receiving: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, documentation, returns, and communication with internal stakeholders and logistics providers.\n\nQuality Control: Ensure incoming goods and warehouse transactions are checked appropriately. Escalate and support resolution of damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming materials.\n\nSafety and Housekeeping: Maintain safe, clean, and organized warehouse areas. Ensure equipment is used correctly and safety requirements are consistently followed.\n\nSystems and Data Accuracy: Ensure timely and correct ERP transactions, stock updates, and warehouse records. Support improvements in data quality and traceability.\n\nProblem Solving and Escalation: Resolve operational issues within the authority’s role and escalate material, capacity, quality, safety, or schedule risks promptly.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Identify and implement practical improvements to warehouse layout, material flow, standard work, visual management, and waste reduction.\n\nCross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Supply Chain, Production, Projects, Quality, Engineering, and Service to align priorities and material availability.\n\nSkills:\nStrong warehouse and logistics knowledge with the ability to organize and prioritize daily operations.\n\nDemonstrated potential to guide, coach, and develop a warehouse team.\n\nStrong attention to detail, ownership, and structured problem solving.\n\nClear communication and effective collaboration across functions.\n\nProficiency in computer systems, data entry, Microsoft Office, and preferably ERP systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft.\n\nSafe operation of warehouse equipment and consistent adherence to safety policies and procedures.\n\nFacilities Management Support\nExperience supporting workplace and facilities operations, including:\nConducting basic workplace and building-condition checks and escalating maintenance or safety issues.\n\nCoordinating access and support for contractors, service providers, and facility-related activities.\n\nTracking maintenance requests and maintaining basic facilities records.\n\nMonitoring facility consumables and arranging replenishment when required.\n\nSupporting the readiness of workspaces, meeting rooms, common areas, and shared equipment.\n\nAssisting with office/workshop moves, workspace changes, and facility-related equipment relocation.\n\nSupporting housekeeping contractors, waste management, recycling, and environmental initiatives.\n\nEscalating urgent facilities issues that may impact safety, operations, or business continuity.\n\n REQUIRED\nMinimum MBO-level education or equivalent relevant vocational qualification.\n\nAt least 3-5 years of relevant experience in warehousing and/or logistics, including experience coordinating work or guiding colleagues.\n\nValid forklift truck license and VCA Basic certification.\n\nWorking knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively English and Dutch (desired).\n\nSound understanding of safe warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and material handling.\n\nExperience with ERP or warehouse management systems, inventory analysis, and cycle-count reconciliation.\n\nExperience supporting quality inspections and technical documentation.\n\nFluency in Dutch Language and the Right to Work in the Netherlands is required.\n\nDESIRED\nExperience supervising or acting as senior point of contact for a small operational team.\nPractical experience with facilities or workplace operations, contractor coordination, maintenance requests, consumables, building checks, or service records.","description_format":"text","description_chars":5228,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"Dutch","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false},{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Netherlands","iso":"NL","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":true,"industries":["Robotics","Transportation & Logistics"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-23T17:37:36Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":17,"reasons":["conf:4","velocity","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-24T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/oceaneering-international-warehouse-facilities-supervisor","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/oceaneering-international-warehouse-facilities-supervisor.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-24T16:54:34Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers"}}
