Join our team, where your expertise can make a true impact!\n Effectively oversee and support technical services planning groups in short and long-range time frames both in planning and design of pits along with drill & blast patterns, employing advanced mine engineering practices. Ensure the safe, timely, and professional execution of all functions within an open-pit mining environment.\n1. Provide support & leadership that enables the Technical Services team to achieve zero harm to our people and environment.\nSupport department training plan by providing and maintaining documentation to key Principal Control Plans, Principal Hazard Management Plans and Standard Operating Procedures.\nSupport site wide safety programs by performing field verifications of critical controls to Fatal Risks.\n2. Provide leadership and support that enables the Technical Services team to perform at a high level and achieve their professional development goals.\nMentor & train engineers providing guidance on best practices\nEstablishment of development goals for all team members, focusing on employee growth and succession potential\nParticipation in succession planning exercise\n3 Support the execution of site business plan.\nManage the production of precise daily, weekly, and rolling three-month mine and dump plans, maximizing efficiency and productivity while adhering to the constraints of the current long-range plan and forecast.\nMaintain the design database, standardizing all design areas and the design signoff process.\nCollaborate with mine operations for any changes required to meet monthly mine and dump plan requirements.\nImprove the effective use of mining software and explore technical solutions/new products related to the production planning process.\nMonitor the short- and long-term plan to ensure critical path targets are achieved.\nEnsure mining is planned and executed to maximize ore recovery and minimize mining dilution.\nUtilize reconciliation data to optimally mine the defined ore, reliably predicting grade and tonnages.\n4.
