The ideal candidate brings hands-on software development experience and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.\nLocation:\nHybrid -OCH Technologies Headquarters in Sterling, VA or William J. Hughes Technical Center -Egg Harbor, NJ\n Core Responsibilities & Duties\nFacilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to maintain consistent team cadence. \nOwn and prioritize the product backlog in coordination with the Technical Project Manager and stakeholders, ensuring the team is always working on the highest-value items. \nWrite and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of requirements. \nIdentify and remove roadblocks that impede team progress, escalating to the Technical Project Manager or leadership when necessary. \nServe as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders for day-to-day sprint activities and delivery priorities. \nMonitor sprint health metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) and provide visibility into team progress and risks. \nCollaborate with the Technical Project Manager on release planning, scope management, and schedule alignment with contract milestones. \nSupport the development of project documentation including status reports, sprint summaries, and system lifecycle artifacts. \nContribute technical perspectives to solution design discussions and help the team evaluate implementation approaches. \nAssist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and recommend adjustments to Agile practices based on team retrospective feedback. \nSupport proposal efforts and organic growth opportunities as needed. \nThe responsibilities and duties listed above are flexible and subject to change based on operational need.\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Math, or Science or related discipline\nExperience:\nA minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience \n3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar Agile role \n2+ years' experience with software development , including coding, code review, technical design, or other direct participation in the software development lifecycle \n2+ years of experience working in a Government Contracting environment \nExperience facilitating Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives \nExperience managing and prioritizing product backlogs using Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) \nExperience translating stakeholder requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria \nExperience identifying, escalating, and resolving impediments that affect team velocity and delivery \nLicense/Certification\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\nCandidate must have the ability to hold and maintain a Secret Clearance\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with FAA or other federal aviation programs \nExperience with software modernization or migration projects \nKnowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud infrastructure concepts \nExperience contributing to proposal efforts or technical writing in a GovCon environment \nFamiliarity with CMMI Level 3 processes and how they integrate with Agile delivery\nOther Required Skills and Abilities\nMust be able to effectively communicate with customers and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract. \nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. \nStrong facilitation, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. \nAbility to bridge technical and non-technical conversations, translating between developer language and stakeholder needs. \nAbility to take initiative on project tasks with minimal supervision. \nProvide expertise and assistance with proposal efforts.\nAbout Us: At OCH, we are more than just a government contracting firm; we are innovators and leaders in providing cutting-edge IT services and cybersecurity solutions.
