The role is responsible for preparing and maintaining technical and administrative documentation, creating briefing and presentation materials, drafting meeting minutes, and supporting the preparation of program deliverables.\nThis posting is intended to build a talent pipeline for anticipated future opportunities. \nLocation:\nHybrid- FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center - Egg Harbor, NJ\n Core Responsibilities & Duties\nBuild detailed architectural diagrams of both virtual and physical infrastructure environments.\nWork with the PM and Government PMO to develop a consistent, uniform style and language. \nCreate detailed diagrams illustrating network and infrastructure layouts, clear visualization and understanding of system architecture. \nCollaborate on the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).\nCollaborate and coordinate across functional teams including developers, engineers and testers for various projects. \nEstablish the overall organizational layout and editorial standards of the submissions. \nConduct research and ensuring the use of proper technical terminology. \nAssist with physical and virtual inventory management \nPerform gap analysis and identifying areas for documentation improvement by interviewing technical SMEs and/or performing documentation reviews.\nResponsibilities may evolve over time to support team and organizational goals, but will remain consistent with the overall scope of the role.\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in technical writing, English, or an IT-related field\nExperience:\nA minimum of three (3)+ years of relevant experience \nExperience as a technical writer in an IT environment \nExperience composing technical documents including Standard Operating procedures (SOPs), user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports \nExperience with Visio, Draw.io \nExperience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) \nExperience with Agile practices like Scrum, Kanban \nExperience developing system documentation including system design documents, architecture documentation, diagrams, etc. \nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\nCandidate must have the ability to hold and maintain a Secret Clearance\n Preferred Qualifications\nPrior government contract experience, particularly supporting FAA, DoD, DHS, or other federal agencies. \nExperience with Jira, Confluence, Assets/Insight \nKnowledge of IT Infrastructure concepts (networking, servers, databases, cloud) \nExperience maintaining and creating detailed documentation (Hardware, Virtual) \nProficient with Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and Visio \nOther Required Skills and Abilities\nMust be able to effectively communicate with customers and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract. \nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook. \nAbout Us: At OCH, we are more than just a government contracting firm; we are innovators and leaders in providing cutting-edge IT services and cybersecurity solutions.
