OCHIN is excited to support our continued national expansion and the increasing demand for our innovative tools and services by welcoming new talent to our growing team.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Epic HIM Application Analyst plays a key role on OCHIN’s Epic Member Care Team, contributing to the strategy, design, and optimization of the Epic HIM and Identity product suite. This role provides subject-matter expertise, informs best-practice workflows, delivers system enhancements, and supports organizational initiatives including Gold Stars, Honor Roll, and Epic Upgrades.\nRequirements\nMinimum of at least 2-3 years of experience as an Analyst,\nCurrent certification in the assigned Epic application(s) Hospital coding, ROI, and Deficiency Tracking.\nNice to Have Certifications: EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, Gallery\nWork history in Healthcare IT is required.\nDemonstrated experience in system application build\nStrong understanding of HIM and Identity workflows, analytics and technology.\nExperience with building system application packages and moving through multiple environments.\nStrong understanding of health information management and identity functionality for Community Connects, Critical Access Hospitals, and Rural Healthcare\nStrong communication skills - able to communicate with both application and technical team members, as well as end users.\nConsistently acts with integrity and accountability.\nProcess and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.\nProactive, self-motivated, and solution oriented.\nPrior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50-60-minute competency assessment. The assessment gives us insights into how your strengths, preferences, and work style align with the OCHIN's nine core competencies. Occasional decision making and independent judgment or action.\nReading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.\nWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.\nThis position requires a virtual home-office environment, working remotely and will require that employees be on camera for all virtual meetings.\nThe role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and mobile devices.\nTravel may be required to support OCHIN’s business requirements for Go-Live installations or training which may require travel by air, vehicle, or train.\nWork Location and Travel Requirements\nOCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs.
