Manages relationships with the application teams and applications leadership and operational teams and operational leadership. Manages day-to-day individual and team dynamics, work prioritization, fiscal stewardship, and management of all aspects of analytics project life cycle.This position leads a Visual Analytics and Business Intelligence team responsible for developing dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate brings experience leading BI or dashboard development teams and working with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Sigma, or Power BI. Experience within a healthcare environment and familiarity with healthcare data sources, SQL, Snowflake, and cloud environments such as Azure or AWS are highly valued. Contents are subject to change at the company’s discretion.\nEducation\nRequired - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business, or related field.\nPreferred - Master’s degree in computer science, healthcare, business, or related field.\nWork Experience\nRequired - 5 years of experience in business intelligence or data management.\n3 years of experience using SQL in daily activities.\n3 years of experience overseeing analytical system processes and/or servers.\n3 years of experience overseeing analytics projects from inception to roll out.\n1 year of experience with data visualization software (i.e., Tableau, PowerBI, other) and data visualization principles.\n1 year of experience leading analytics teams.\nPreferred - Healthcare experience.\nCertifications\nPreferred - Epic certification.\nKnowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)\nUnderstanding of business goals and objectives and ability to align the team's work to strategic priorities.\nDeep knowledge of analytics best practices and ability to guide the team in defining, designing, building analytics solutions aligned with customer needs.\nGood understanding of all aspects of healthcare operations.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to support and develop client relationship by listening to, understanding, and articulating client needs and translating them to technical specifications.\nStrong partnering, coaching, and mentoring skills.\nStrong time management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and pay close attention to detail.\nCritical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills and ability to use effective decision making in complex, dynamic situations.\nNegotiation skills and ability to work with various parties towards a mutually acceptable business solution and maintain customer focus.\nAbility to work flexible schedule, such as evenings, nights, weekends, extended shifts, etc.\nJob Duties\nManages projects to meet client requirements.\nDelivers applications that adhere to standards and support initiatives.\nServes as a subject matter expert in analytics to support data, business intelligence applications, and commercial analytics solutions.\nTranslates business objectives into data requirements.\nSupports data & analytics internal and external education initiatives.\nCoordinates internal resources and vendors to provide accurate and precise execution of projects.\nEnsures projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within agreed project scope.\nLiaises with leadership and end users to report and escalate risks.\nDevelops, maintains, and tracks project status reports, statements of work, scoping documentation, and other relevant documentation.\nEnsures assigned projects support the organizational and departmental goals.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
