But we also work hard to make a job at OCLC a meaningful part of a balanced life- not a substitute for one.\nThe Job Details are as follows:\nThis temporary, part-time role (up to 20 hours per week) will coordinate two grant-funded WebJunction projects for 18 months from the date of hire, with the possibility of extension. The coordinator will manage deliverables and schedules across both projects, support the development of online training, communicate with project partners and contractors, organize and facilitate meetings, and assist with research and technical writing.\nThis role is remote, with one in-person project meeting each month in Seattle, Washington. Candidates must be able to attend these meetings in person, and travel expenses are not reimbursed, so candidates based in or near Seattle are preferred.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate and drive the schedule and activities of two WebJunction projects: Competencies and Credentials for Public Libraries, and Beyond ABLE: Foundational Continuing Education for Public Library Staff projects. \nManage project planning and tracking documentation. Set up and prepare meeting agendas and take notes to capture action items and decisions.\nSupport project managers in defining priorities and turning high-level plans into concrete deliverables with identified dependencies and documented action steps. Help to ensure appropriate timelines are defined and met, and that future project needs are anticipated while executing current priorities.\nCoordinate and facilitate among project team members, advisors, contractors, evaluators, and subject matter experts, and participants \nSupport research, design, and writing of publicationsand instructional content and experiences.\nCoordinate travel and meeting logistics for conference presentations. \nCoordinate with the internal communications team to promote the projects and its deliverables externally.\nQualifications\nMinimum of three years’ experience in project coordination or management.\nExperience planning and coordinating highly collaborative multi-year outcomes-based projects that continuously adapt to emerging conditions and evidence.\nUnderstanding of best practices for building relationships and engaging with adult learners in an all-virtual environment.\nExcellent written, organizational, and communications skills.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of individuals to establish and maintain trust and rapport.\nSelf-directed, initiates action, and is able to make well-reasoned recommendations to leaders, execute decisions, and solve problems.\nExcellent video-conferencing facilitation skills and experience with supporting geographically dispersed project teams.\nExperience with Microsoft and Google content creation and management systems, and knowledge of communications technologies.\nExperience working with libraries (desired).\nExperience with competencies, credentials, and/or online learning (desired)\nWorking Conditions: This is a remote position. Occasional travel may be required for in-person project meetings estimated at one trip per month.
