You will collaborate with team members to identify, triage, and resolve documentation needs. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, structure, and implement engaging, user-friendly content that is cohesive and intuitive for a global audience.Responsibilities\nDeliver clear, well-structured online customer support documentation, leveraging a translation management platform as needed, to ensure accurate, timely access for global audiences.\nMaintain content integrity across online customer support documentation by enforcing standardized protocols and prioritizing accessible design to ensure an inclusive user experience.\nCollaborate with Product teams to research and test pre-release features, developing a strong understanding of functionality to inform content planning and anticipate user needs.\nFoster excellent working relationships with cross-functional teams to develop documentation that helps to enhance the effective use of OCLC products and services.\nNavigate ambiguity, support multiple products, and meet deadlines in a changing environment.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent academic/work experience\n1 year of experience as a technical writer or equivalent work experience\nExpertise with multiple operating systems and tools for preparing electronic and printed documentation, such as online help and documentation for the web\nExperience with processes and methods of information development\nFluent in written and spoken English\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Library and Information Science or related technical discipline\nFront-end technology experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)\nCollaboration software experience (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint)\nStrong project management skills\nExperience in an international organization\nWorking Conditions: Normal office environment.\nADA/EAA: The above statements cover what are generally believed to be the principal and essential functions of this job.
