Purpose of the Job

As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for accurately maintaining accounting records while developing your technical expertise. You will receive training and support to prepare financial statements and management accounts for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting frameworks and delivering high-quality client service.

Main Responsibilities

• Take pride in maintaining accurate accounting records and processing transactions for an assigned portfolio of clients.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management accounts by accurately posting bookkeeping entries and maintaining high-quality records.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, loan transactions, and bank transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform bank, investment, and other reconciliations, helping to ensure the integrity of client financial information.
• Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other basic tax filings.
• Prepare simple financial statements and management accounts while developing your technical accounting knowledge and skills.
• Work closely with colleagues across the team, providing support on accounting tasks and contributing to team initiatives and projects.
• Build positive relationships with clients and deliver a professional, responsive, and high-quality service across multiple jurisdictions within the Ocorian Group.
• Handle client, employee, and company information with the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
• Follow Ocorian's information security policies and procedures to help protect the business and its clients.

• Completed ACCA Level 2 and/or having first degree in accounting field

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
• Ability to learn NAV, E-front systems and Value Financials software.
