You will work closely with Power BI analysts, data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure and high-quality data solutions that make a meaningful business impact.\nYou will bring strong technical expertise across data architecture, ETL processes and cloud platforms, alongside a collaborative approach and a genuine drive to improve how data is structured, accessed and used.\nMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\nYou will design, build and maintain robust ETL and ELT pipelines that provide reliable, high-quality data across the organisation.\nYou will create scalable ingestion processes that bring together structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.\nYou will develop and maintain modern data warehouses and data lakes that support reporting, analytics and data science.\nYou will design effective data models, including dimensional, star and snowflake schemas, to make data easier to access and use.\nYou will deploy and manage cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft SQL Server.\nYou will monitor and optimise database, platform and storage performance to improve scalability, resilience and efficiency.\nYou will partner with analysts, data scientists and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.\nYou will ensure data is accurate, available and trusted by embedding quality checks throughout pipelines and platforms.\nYou will implement appropriate data governance, security, access controls and data protection measures.\nYou will ensure solutions meet relevant regulatory, risk and information security requirements.\nYou will create clear technical documentation, share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement across the data environment.\n KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, or poven experience in data engineering or a related role.\nYou will bring strong SQL and Python skills, along with solid database experience across relational and non-relational platforms.\nYou will have hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as dbt Cloud, Azure Data Factory or Fabric Pipelines.\nYou will have practical experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP; relevant cloud certifications would be an advantage.\nYou will understand data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling, and how to design data that is easy to access and use.\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Fivetran or Alteryx would be beneficial.\nYou will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ideally with an understanding of finance data.\nYou will have a high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality data.\n ADDITIONAL INFORMATION\nAll employees are expected to embody our core values that underpin everything that we do and that reflect the skills and behaviours we all need to be successful.
