The System Engineer provides system-level technical direction to the Verification & Validation organization to ensure system requirements, operational objectives, and customer expectations are successfully verified and validated.\nThis role is focused on advanced communications, SDR, RF, SIGINT, airborne, mobile, and mission-critical systems involving both internally developed and third-party technologies.\nWhat you'll do:\nDevelop System-Level Solution Concepts:\nEngage with customers and stakeholders to understand mission objectives, operational challenges, and deployment environments; \nTranslate customer needs into system-level requirements and solution concepts; \nEvaluate technical alternatives, trade-offs, and implementation approaches; \nParticipate in customer demonstrations, prototypes, pilot deployments, and technical engagements to validate solution concepts and operational requirements; \nEnsure proposed solutions are practical, achievable, and aligned with operational objectives. \nIntegrate Complex Systems:\nLead integration of hardware, software, RF, networking, and third-party technologies into complete system solutions; \nDefine and manage interfaces between subsystems, products, and external platforms; \nEnsure system architecture, interfaces, and integration approaches support operational and performance objectives; \nIdentify and resolve integration issues, technical risks, and system-level dependencies; \nLead integration planning, execution, troubleshooting, and deployment activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams; \nEnsure integrated systems meet operational, performance, and mission requirements. \nProvide System-Level Technical Leadership:\nAct as the system-level technical focal point across multidisciplinary engineering teams; \nDrive technical alignment and support informed engineering decision-making; \nLead or contribute to technical trade studies, reviews, and risk assessments; \nDrive verification and validation strategy by ensuring system requirements, operational scenarios, and acceptance criteria are clearly defined, traceable, and validated through testing. \nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; \nExperience integrating complex hardware and software systems; \nExperience translating customer or operational needs into technical solutions; Strong understanding of system architecture, interfaces, and multidisciplinary engineering concepts; \nAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple technology domains; \nExcellent communication and technical leadership skills. \nAssets:\nExperience with SDR, LTE, 5G, RF systems, SIGINT, tactical communications, or related technologies; \nExperience with airborne, mobile, fixed-site, or mission-critical deployments; \nExperience integrating third-party hardware, software, sensors, or networking platforms; \nFamiliarity with requirements management, interface control, and systems engineering methodologies; \nExperience supporting government, defense, aerospace.\nSuccess Profile:\nSuccess in this role is measured by the ability to develop system-level solution concepts that address real customer needs, integrate complex technologies into reliable and deployable systems, and ensure those solutions are successfully verified, validated, and accepted by customers.
