You will report to the Senior Editorial Operations Manager and will monitor coverage, schedule events, maintain databases to support coverage and produce editorial content such as monthly digests, recaps and certain company-specific pieces. \nResponsibilities\nManage scheduling and tracking of coverage events for major court cases\nMaintain databases tracking data about key events and companies in Octus’ coverage universe\nLiaise with court staff, freelancers and other third-party service providers \nMonitor third-party content related to performing, distressed and high-yield companies\nProduce internal and client-facing reports and content\nCollaborate with operations and editorial staff to enhance processes and systems that drive content \nRequirements\nB.A. or B.S. degree\nExceptional attention to detail and organization\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nExperience in Excel / Google Sheets \nFamiliarity with SQL a plus, but not required\nGenuine interest in financial news, bankruptcy and credit markets\nExperience with financial data and topics a plus, but not required\nEnjoys creative problem-solving and looks to take on new challenges\nAbility to work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment\nAt Octus, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.\nThe salary range estimate for this position is $63,000 - $70,000. \nThe actual compensation will be at Octus’ sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors.
