This is a cross-functional role that requires strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.\nResponsibilities \nAssist with client onboarding and support. Work with the analytics team, data team, and business analysts to understand client data, configure portfolio compliance and analytics, and debug calculation issues\n\nImplement, test, and maintain new functionality for portfolio compliance and onboarding\n\nHelp to improve and maintain documentation for internal team members\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or similar field with a strong quantitative emphasis\n\nExperience with an object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java, or C#\n\nDesire to understand and communicate problems from both a financial and technical point-of-view\n\nPreferred\nExperience with core financial data domains including issuers, instruments, industries, ratings, and pricing\n\nFamiliarity with CLOs and asset-based lending\n\nExperience with analytic Python libraries, such as Pandas and Numpy\n\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and applications\n\nExperience with AI tools, such as Claude Code or Google Gemini\n\nAt Octus, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations.
