The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.OCVIBE, a premier mixed-use community and live entertainment district, is coming to Anaheim in 2027! This $5 billion, 95-acre, mixed-use community will surround its anchor, Honda Center, with new live entertainment venues, dining and retail offerings, and public amenities. From intimate clubs to a new 6K-capacity concert venue, OCVIBE will provide a full range of entertainment, activating the District daily for the enjoyment of its guests. This will include 5 venues that will be serviced by the AAM F&B organization.\nThe Accounting Manager, F&B is a full-time, exempt position based at ACC in Anaheim. This role manages and oversees the daily accounting operations for the Food & Beverage organization for all Venues, with primary responsibility for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The Accounting Manager will develop and maintain scalable processes across multiple entities, enforce company spending policies, maintain effective internal controls, and support accurate and timely financial reporting. The position requires 5-10 years of accounting or finance experience, including required experience working with multiple entities.\nResponsibilities\nManage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting function for F&B venues\n\nDevelop, document, and maintain accounting processes across multiple entities\n\nReview and approve journal entries for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate support\n\nReview and reconcile POS sales reports, record revenue to F&B general ledger according to respective sales categories, department and events\n\nReconcile daily settlements between POS reports and bank statement\n\nPrepare financial recap reports for events and venue operations\n\nReconcile intercompany accounts and resolve differences in a timely manner\n\nPrepare and review monthly balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations\n\nAssist with revenue and expenditure variance analysis and communicate key drivers\n\nEnsure monthly and year-end close deadlines are met\n\nManage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, including timely processing, billing, collections, and issue resolution\n\nHelp enforce company spending policies and maintain effective internal controls supporting accurate financial reporting\n\nManage cash flow activities and support liquidity planning\n\nAssist with budget monitoring and analyze actual results against budget\n\nSupport ad hoc reporting, special projects, and other accounting initiatives\n\nSupport year-end financial audits and maintain fiscal files and records that appropriately document transactions\n\nAchieve financial accounting objectives established by the company and promote continuous process improvement\n\nSkills and Experience\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred\n\nExperience: 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance\n\nMulti-Entity Experience: Required experience working with multiple legal entities and intercompany activity\n\nTechnical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required\n\nSystems: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus\n\nAccounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, financial reporting, GAAP, and internal controls\n\nLeadership: Demonstrated ability to direct, supervise, and develop staff while managing competing priorities and deadlines\n\nAccuracy: High attention to detail with a consistent focus on completeness and accuracy\n\nCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments\n\nResults Orientation: Strong leadership, accountability, and dedication to achieving results and improving processes\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Experience\nEducation - Bachelor's Degree\nExperience Required - 5+ Years\nThis position is on-site.\nCompany:\nAnaheim Arena Management, LLC (F&B)Our Commitment:\nWe are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and team members without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, parental status, military service, medical condition or any protected category prohibited by local, state or federal laws.
